4.3 magnitude earthquake hits Panama


An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Chiriqui Province in Panama on Sunday.

The US Geological Survey reported that the quake occurred 197 kilometers south of the town of Burica, located in the province, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

No tsunami warnings were issued as a result of the earthquake, and there were no reports of human or material losses. (QNA)
