Health department asked to check preparedness of Covid centers

Municipal Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar urged the health department to put the Covid management infrastructure on alert mode. Chief Minister Shinde directed state agencies and civic bodies to remain alert due to the increasing cases of JN1 variant of Covid. There are 7 active cases in Thane, of which one is admitted in CSMH Kalwa and the others are in home isolation. Bangar directed to activate isolation facilities at CSMH and Parking Plaza Hospital. Stock of Remdesivir injections and vaccines should be kept ready.
