Tuscarora had come to Vijghar area twenty days ago. This elephant caused huge damage to the fruit gardens of the farmers there. Six days later, the villagers saw a puppy with the Tuscarora. They damaged coconut, betel nut and banana plantations. So how many elephants should there actually be in this area? It was difficult to predict. At around 7.30 pm on Wednesday evening, an elephant came near a farmer's house in Bambarade. The gathered villagers shouted and chased the tusker towards the forest. After this, at a gap of just three hours, at around 10.30 pm, the villagers saw a herd of five elephants roaming around. The Forest Department is also making continuous efforts to eliminate the tusker.

The villagers noticed that a herd of five elephants, including a tusker, a female elephant and three calves, were roaming there. One cub in this herd is only five months old. Since the cub was very small, the female was living with the cub in the forest of Bambarde. Two other girls were also with him. So only the tusker was roaming in Ghatiwade and Bambarade area in search of food. When the Forest Department was asked about this, they also confirmed it.

Just one elephant has caused a loss of about Rs 9 lakh to the farmers. Cashew season has now started. Farmers are worried due to the entry of elephants. Villagers and farmers are scared of Tusker coming near their house. However, it is being said by the villagers that since there is a five-month old calf in the herd of elephants, it will be impossible to defeat these elephants from here. The possibility of these elephants causing more harm to farmers in future cannot be ruled out. Therefore, villagers and farmers are demanding that elephants be stopped and driven away from this area.
