- The schedule of three express trains will be affected
Madgaon: ‘Mega Block’ will be held on November 21 and December 1, 2024 for road under bridge work in Karwar and Harwara sections on Konkan railway line. Due to this work on the railway line, the schedule of three trains running through Konkan Railway will be affected.
In this regard, according to the information given by Konkan Railway, a mega block of four hours will be conducted in Karwar-Harwara education on 21st November and 1st December 2024. RUB i.e. Road Under Bridge is to be completed during the Mega Block period. This work will be done between Karwar to Harwara using box pushing technology.
These trains will be affected
- 1) Train Udhna to Mangalore (09057) departing on November 20 will be detained for two hours.
- 2) Pune Ernakulam Superfast Express (01197) starting journey on 30 November 2024 will be detained for two hours on Madgaon to Karwar section.
- 3) Special train (06601) running between Madgaon and Mangalore on 21st November 2024 and 1st December 2024 will run sixty minutes late as per revised schedule.
