. Pratap Ganapatrao Hogade (age 74), known throughout Maharashtra as an electrician and a retired activist and engineer of the progressive movement, died yesterday morning of a heart attack at home. He was also the state working president of the Samajwadi Party. His death has caused a great loss to the movement in the power sector. The funeral procession will leave from his residence at Date Malla here today (19th) at eight o’clock in the morning. He was having fever for the last three-four days and was feeling weak since Sunday. He started feeling unwell this morning. Soon after, he suffered a severe heart attack. He lost his life in that. His demise has created a huge void in the power sector along with the social sector. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
