Ratnagiri, Dt. 18 – Webcasting has been facilitated at all the polling stations in the district, and its control room will be in the office of the Collector and the office of the Election Returning Officer. The polling will be monitored at all the centers from these places. Instructions have been given to all polling center presidents and all center presiding officers that there will be no bogus voting. The police department has also been informed in this regard. The police department has been ordered to file a case against the concerned if any form of bogus voting or impersonation is found at the polling stations. Also, the district election administration has kept a watchful eye for conducting elections in a fearless, peaceful and transparent environment in all the five assembly constituencies in the district.
On 17-11-2024, the Election Inspector (Expenditure) reviewed the election related work of the district administration through television system. In this meeting too, the election inspector has ordered that the administration should take all necessary measures to conduct the elections in a peaceful and fearless atmosphere in the district. The district administration has made all preparations to implement the order given by the Election Inspector and has taken strict measures to prevent bogus voting.
