CBSE 10th-12th syllabus reduced by 15 percent

The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has reduced the syllabus of class 10-12 by 15 percent. Apart from this, changes have also been made in the examination pattern. Accordingly, it has been clarified that 40 percent marks will be given for internal assessment and the remaining 60 percent marks will be given for the final examination. Curriculum reduction is in line with the evolving educational structure of the board. CBSE exam pattern 2025 has also been changed. Accordingly, 40 percent marks have been fixed for internal assessment for both classes X-XII, while the remaining 60 percent marks will be based on the final written examination. Date sheet for class 10th-12th will be released soon by this year’s examination board of the board. Considering the previous years pattern, it is expected that the datesheet will be released in the next month i.e. December. Once the time table is announced, students can download it from the official website. It has already been announced that the board exams will be held from February 15, 2025.
