Mumbai: Following the joint manifesto of Mahavikas Aghadi, Congress has announced ‘Mumbainama’ for Mumbaikars. Congress, while promising the redevelopment of Dharavi, has mentioned that the contract given to Adani will be cancelled. The Congress has promised that fishermen will be given a loan waiver of up to five lakh rupees and that the Mahavikas Aghadi government will hold the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, which have been stalled for the last three years, within three months.
In Dharavi redevelopment, 500 square feet house and those who have industrial and commercial space will also be given space in the redevelopment. A special center will be created to export goods from these industries. Over 50,000 buildings in the Mumbai metropolitan area do not have occupancy certificates, but they will be issued within six months. The manifesto was released in the presence of Mumbai Congress president MLA Varsha Gaikwad and senior Congress leaders.

Immediately after that, Balasaheb Thackeray’s photograph has been printed on the ‘Mumbainama’ of Congress, bigger than others. A large photograph of Balasaheb was also placed on the board of the press conference. Photographs of senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have not been used.
