Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to launch its new communication satellite GSAT-20 (New communication satellite). For this, ISRO is going to carry out this mission with the help of SpaceX, the company of American industrialist Elon Musk. It is also reported that ISRO will launch its new communication satellite using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. This communication satellite is named GSAT-N2 and it is Also called GSAT-20, it will provide in-flight internet services in India.
Currently, in-flight internet access facility is restricted in India. Airlines must turn off Internet services while flying over Indian airspace. But, the government has recently amended the rules to allow in-flight internet services in India. According to the new rules, airlines can provide Wi-Fi-based internet services once the aircraft reaches an altitude of 3,000 meters.
