The Diwali special that ran on the empty route rested in the yard

Village: Central Railway has run 32 runs of four Diwali specials to ease the rush of regular trains during the Diwali holiday season. 8 rounds were run due to overwhelming response of passengers to all rounds.

During the Diwali holiday season, the regular trains plying on the Konkan route are crowded with passengers. To reduce this crowd, the Central Railway administration had announced four Diwali specials namely LTT-Savantwadi, Pune-Savantwadi, Sawantwadi Panvel, LTT-Kochuveli. The 8 runs of LTT-Savantwadi Weekly Special received great response from the passengers. After the final round on November 8, the Special Yard rested. Pune-Savantwadi weekly special will also stop.

14 of LTT-Kochuveli Special. The last round ran on November. The special leaving LTT at 4 PM will reach Kochuveli at 8.45 PM the next day. 21 LHB special coaches on Konkan route stopped at Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Sawantwadi, Madgaon stations.
