Ratnagiri: Suvarnasurya Foundation and Ratnagiri Cyclist Club have started a unique initiative called Konkan Coastal Marathon in Ratnagiri. This marathon is important for the development of Ratnagiri through tourism. Various contestants from all over the country have registered in this till now. Konkan Coastal Marathon consists of 5 km, 10 km and 21 km half marathon. Organized by Ratnagirikars, it is the dream of the organizers that this marathon should be of such a nature that runners from all over the world come to Ratnagiri at least once.
