A holiday has been announced for schools in the state from November 18 to 20 in view of the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra. State Deputy Secretary Tushar Mahajan has instructed the State Education Commissioner to instruct the concerned to keep the schools closed by the Headmasters of all the schools in the state. Necessary training has been given to the staff appointed for the election work. Therefore, teachers and principals of many schools will be busy with election work.
According to the circular published by Tushar Mahajan, for the smooth conduct of the Assembly General Election 2024 in the state, where it is not possible to hold a school due to the election duty of the teachers, the principal of the school should take a decision to close the school. As a result, it has become clear that the schools in the state will now have a holiday between November 18 and 20.
