Saudi Joint Forces Commander meets with UN envoy for Yemen

RIYADH — Commander of the Joint Forces Lt. Gen. Fahd Al-Salman met with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, in Riyadh.

They reviewed efforts and initiatives by Saudi Arabia with the aim of achieving security, stability and peace for Yemen, and its support and facilitation of humanitarian operations and the development and reconstruction of the neighboring country. They also reviewed political efforts made by Saudi Arabia to find a comprehensive solution to the Yemeni crisis.
