Criticism of BJP leaders

BJP leader and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that Congress leader Syed Azimpur’s statement that Babasaheb Ambedkar was about to convert to Islam but eventually became a Buddhist is wrong. Babasaheb has well recorded his views in his own book. Please don’t mislead and destroy Babasaheb’s legacy, he responded.

Besides, BJP leader Amit Malviya also condemned the statement. Babasaheb has opposed Islam. He called Islam a closed society or brotherhood of Muslims for Muslims only. His words are well recorded in the book Partition of India. The opposition’s attempt to forge an alliance between Dalits and Muslims will never succeed.
