Mumbai: Union Minister Amit Shah has started campaign meetings in Maharashtra from today. Shah held the first public meeting today at Shirala in Sangli district.
In this meeting, Amit Shah strongly targeted the Mahavikas Aghadi. On the other hand, Amit Shah made a statement about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Ramdas Swamy in this meeting. Former MP Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati has now objected to this statement.
Meanwhile, accusations and recriminations have started in the political circle from this statement. Former MP Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati has objected to Union Minister Amit Shah’s statement. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in a meeting in Shirala, ‘This land is where the feet of Samarth Ramdas fell. During the period of slavery, Ram Das worked to support Shivaji Maharaj by gathering the youth,’ said Shah. Now Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati has objected to this statement.
Objecting to Union Minister Amit Shah’s statement, former MP Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati said, “If you connect Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Saint Ramdas, it cannot be done if someone is calling him Guru.” Shivaji Maharaj’s only guru is Jijau Maasaheb, so he should be in the place where he is important. Former MP Sambhaji Raje has objected saying that we are not challenging his importance, but adding Shivaji Maharaj is not acceptable.
Amol Mitkari tweeted
NCP MLA Amol Mitkari has also objected to Union Minister Amit Shah’s statement. MLA Mitkari tweeted and criticized. Mitkari wrote in a tweet that, ‘Union Minister Amitji Shah’s statement about the history of Shivaji Maharaj in the Shirala meeting is very wrong. We should find out who wrote the script for him in Maharashtra. Mitkari also advised that those coming from outside should not talk about the subject without studying the character of Shiva.
