From Tarkarli Bandar Jetty to Devbagh Film Dindi: The festival concludes on December 16 at Mama Varerkar Theater
Konkan Film Festival has been organized by Sindhuratna Kalavant Manch, Tourism Professional Federation, Tarkarli Tourism Development Association, Malvan Municipality from 11th to 16th December in Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts. The opening ceremony of this festival in Malvan will be held at Matsyagandha Theater in Devbagh on December 12 at 11.30 pm. It will be held by MNS state general secretary, former MLA Parashuram Uparkar
10 am on the occasion of this film festival. The film Dindi will be shot from Tarkarli Bandar Jetty to Devbagh. Also, from December 13 to 15, Bhandari High School, Topiwala High School and s. why Patil Sindhudurg College will screen Marathi films that have qualified for the festival
The main launch of the Konkan Film Festival will be held on 11th at Ratnagiri and the finale on 16th at Malvan. The festival in Malvan will be launched on December 12 at Matsyagandha Theater in Devbagh and it will be attended by veteran actor Vijay Patkar, Vetoba series fame actor Umakant Patil and the cast of Marathi film industry. Before that, a film Dindi will be taken from Tarkarli Bandar Jetty to Devbagh Matsyagandha Theater at 10 am. Local folk art and culture will be seen in this Dindi. This Dindi will be conducted under the guidance of Devbagh Village Tourism Committee President and Devbagh Sarpanch Ulhas Tandel and with the cooperation of Tarkarli Tourism Development Organization. On this occasion, selected films of the festival will be shown in Matsyagandha Theatre. In order to create love for Marathi film industry among the students and to guide the children about opportunities in the field of film, Bhandari High School, Topiwala High School and s. why Patil Sindhudurg College will screen selected films for the students. On the 16th, the main event of the Konkan Film Festival will conclude at Mama Varerkar Theater of Malvan Municipality. Baba Mondkar, President of the Federation of Tourism Professionals, informed that various awards will be distributed on this occasion. Avinash Samant, Devbagh Sarpanch Ulhas Tandel, Mangesh Javakar, Tarkarli Tourism Development Association President Sahdev Salgaonkar, Secretary Darshan Vengurlekar, Manoj Khobarekar, Gajanan Manjrekar, Dada Satoskar etc were present on this occasion.
