Parents of Center School Achre No. 1 strike Malvan Education Department: Group Education Officers promise to provide teachers till December 16

Amit Khot Malvan : Children are suffering educational loss due to vacancy of teaching posts in Central School Achre No. 1 which is the only ideal school in Malvan taluk. Enraged by the non-appointment of teachers in the vacant posts despite repeated demands, the parents stormed the Malvan Panchayat Samiti Education Department on Friday afternoon. An urgent demand was made to the Group Education Officer Sanjay Mane to provide teachers immediately.

Meanwhile, Group Education Officer Sanjay Mane assured the parents to provide teachers in the school till December 16. Even after this, the parents continued their aggressive stance and warned that if the teacher is not available in the school on December 16, they will again come to the education department and start a protest.

As of June 2022, the school's enrollment was 158. She is 101 now. Both graduate teacher posts in the school are vacant. If the teacher posts are not filled, the number of children is feared to decrease further. Parents also said.

Govt teacher recruitment process is going on. Appointment of teachers will be done till January 31. Till then alternative arrangements will be made. The education department is planning to ensure that no school children suffer educational loss. The group education officer said that teachers will be appointed to replace the vacant teachers as soon as possible.

On behalf of Central School Achre No. 1 School Management Committee, Teacher Parents Association, Mother Parents Association, Officers Jaiprakash Parulekar, Deputy Sarpanch Santosh Mirashi, Arpita Ghadi, Mangesh Mestri, Shamma Sheikh, Prathamesh Ghadi, Manali Mirashi, Vishnu Bhatkar, Mahesh Ghadi, Sandeep Pangam , Deepali Kambli, Sakshi Nagle, Roshni Pal, Vidya Jadhav, Sujata Kamtekar, Sakshi Ghadi, Madhura Parab, Madhura Advalkar, Vandana Ghadi, Sharad Pawar, Rupesh Pujare, Ramchandra Achrekar, Kishore Achrekar along with parents, villagers were present.
