Mumbai :There is good news for Anganwadi Workers. State Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare informed that the decision to increase the salary of Anganwadi workers was taken in today’s Cabinet meeting.
He said that the workers who have filled the forms of Ladki Bahin Yojana will also get incentives.
Aditi Tatkare said that today in the cabinet meeting we had proposed to increase the salary of Anganwadi workers. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and all other ministers have supported the proposal. He has said that we have increased the remuneration by about 50 percent.
Increase in salary of Anganwadi workers
It was decided to give 3 thousand more remuneration to women who are helpers. Anganwadi workers were getting ten thousand rupees. 5 thousand more will be given in it now. 3 thousand was increased last time. However, now five thousand have been increased, Aditi Tatkare has informed.
Incentive will also be available
She further said that we are happy that the salary of Anganwadi workers and helpers has been increased very strictly. So we are also starting incentives for the servants who have filled the form of Ladaki Bahin Yojana. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar have fulfilled our priority demand.
That account will be sealed
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the money of Ladaki Bahin Yojana has been deposited in men’s accounts. In this regard, Aditi Tatkare said that this matter came to the attention of the administration yesterday. I am in touch with the local collector. Those who have 37, 38 accounts should be sealed, the forms which were filled should also be cross-verified, so that no injustice is done, orders have been given, he said. So far, the money of Ladki Bahin Yojana has been deposited in the accounts of 1 crore 87 lakh women. Those whose forms were delayed due to some reason, will get all three months’ money and those who received 2 months earlier will get this month’s money, he said.
