On September 29, Lions Club Ratnagiri concluded an exemplary teacher award ceremony at Amber Hall. On the occasion of September 5 Teacher’s Day, this award distribution ceremony was organized. Education Committee President Mjf Shilpa Panwalkar and committee members selected the teachers. La Shilpa expressed her thoughts. Teachers were felicitated with primary secondary college as well as special awards for this award. This award L.G.Patwardhan Smriti Prityarth is sponsored by FJF Lion Heramb Patwardhan Sir. In the college department, the vice principal of Gogate College, Dr. Mrs. Aparna Milind Kulkarni, in the secondary department, Mrs. Anjali Santosh Pilankar, Maratha Mandir A. K. Desai High School, Primary Department Mrs. Prajakta Prakash Kadam, Kr.Ch.Agashe Primary Vidyamandir was honored with the award. Under special award 1. Dr. Sadananda Gopal Agre sir was the keynote speaker. The first issue of *Ratnakesari* 2024-25 which is the mouthpiece of Lions was also published. Editor Mjf Dr Santosh Bedekar said that Lion members have written articles on women empowerment in the issue. Guiding Ex-Provincial Uday G Lodh gave greetings and guided. The program was concluded in the presence of Lion members at Amber Hall. Along with Adarsh Shikshakar Award, the teachers of Lions Club were also felicitated. Expressed and congratulated the Lions Club for this initiative. 52nd Anniversary of the Club and Founder Member Mjf Dr. Ramesh G Chavan Sir’s birthday was celebrated.
