A case has been registered in Thane regarding sexual abuse of a seventeen-year-old girl by her father in a village along the Mumbai-Goa highway between Khed and Chiplun. After filing a complaint, the Khed police have registered a case against the murderous father under Sections 376, 2 (f), 2 (j) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 6, 8, 10 of the Child Sexual Abuse Protection Act. This incident took place between 14th September and 2nd December. After this incident came to the attention of the mother of the girl, the mother of the victim lodged a complaint against her husband at the village police station. After filing this complaint on December 2, a case has been registered in this regard late at night. After registering a case in the village police station, the murderous father absconded and the police are searching for him.
