She was killed in a leopard attack on the padi of a Gir cow which had gone to graze in the forest. The incident took place on Friday, December 1 at around half past ten in the morning at Bapere Teliwadi in the taluka. Mohan Salunkhe, a farmer from Teliwadi of Bapere village in the taluka, had left his cattle to graze in the forest as usual. On Friday, December 1, around 10.30 am, a leopard attacked the padi of one of these cattle, a Gir cow. She died in this. After the leopard attack, owner Mohan Salunkhe rushed to the spot after hearing the screams of the animals. After that the leopard escaped from there. The owner Mohan Salunkhe suffered a loss of around 10 thousand rupees. This attack by a leopard in broad daylight has created an atmosphere of fear in the villagers of Bapere Teliwadi. There is a demand from the villagers that the forest department should put a cage and imprison the leopard at this place.
