Rajapur : For the conservation and conservation of nature reserve in the Western Ghats which is full of diverse natural resources, the government has declared an Eco Sensitive Zone in the Ghats. It includes 51 villages in the taluka out of 311 villages in the district. Regarding the environment sensitive area, the government has asked for objections from people within sixty days. From this, some areas in the Western Ghats have been declared as environment sensitive by the Ministry of Central Government. It includes 51 villages out of 311 villages included in Ratnagiri district. The government has invited objections within sixty days on the notification regarding the inclusion of known environmentally sensitive villages as environmentally sensitive villages. The notification in this regard was released on July 31. Its deadline will be next Monday (30 p.m.). Although a period of about one and a half months has passed since the announcement of this notification, not a single objection has been filed from the villages of the taluka.
