* Kudal, Day-24:-* Navratri festival will be celebrated from 3rd to 12th October at Shree Devi Mahalakshmi Temple in Narur. Cultural programs along with religious rituals have been organized on this occasion. Various festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Mahalakshmi Temple of Narur. Navratri festival is also celebrated with great enthusiasm after Shravan month. This year Ghatstashana will be held on October 3 at 9 am. After that there will be various religious rituals. Also, from 3rd to 7th October every evening at 7.30 pm Shri. Kirtans of Mestribuva (Kaleli) will be performed. It includes ‘Durga-Madhukaithab Vadha’ on the 3rd at 7.30 pm, ‘Krishna-Rukmini Swayamvar’ on the 4th, ‘Ram-Ram Bhakta Kevat’ on the 5th, ‘Santcharitra-Sant Gora Kumbhar’ on the 6th,
Kirtans will be held on topics such as ‘Afzal Khan killing’. District level women’s bhajan competition will be held on 8th and 9th. In this competition, first place will be Rs.7001, second place is Rs.5777, third place is Rs.3777, incentive is Rs.2777, and individual prizes and a trophy will be given to each. On 10th from 7 pm onwards Goddess Mahalakshmi’s annual procession and vigil event, 8 pm. Mahaprasad, 11th at 7.30 pm. Cultural programs for children from all village schools and Anganwadis, 12th at 2 pm. Seemollanghan, 9.30 pm. Kaleshwar Dashavatar Mandal, Nerur, presented by Sudhir Kalingan will be a play. An appeal has been made by the Bahumankari, Mahalakshmi Devasthan local committee and villagers to take advantage of Devi Mahalakshmi Devasthan four and twelve villagers.
