Vikrant met Ajit Pawar on my request: Bhaskar Jadhav

Chiplun: Some high traditions are to be preserved, I am telling Vikrant to salute Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Guhagar MLA and Uddhav Sena leader Bhaskar Jadhav expressed this clear opinion that he had met Ajit Pawar on my own request.

Former president of Ratnagiri Zilla Parishad and son of MLA Bhaskar Jadhav Vikrant Jadhav met Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar who came to Chiplun daira. After this meeting, many arguments are being contested in the political circles. When NCP President Sharad Pawar came to Chiplun on Monday, MLA Bhaskar Jadhav met him. He then interacted with the media.

MLA Jadhav said that Sharad Pawar is a god for me. After I became an MLA for the first time in 1195, I went to Kolhapur. Ratnappa Anna Kumbhar, MP who was born in 1952, felicitated me in Kolhapur. At that time, he said that if any party leader comes to my district, taluka, I welcome him with a shawl and garland.

Some thoughts are engraved on the mind, some high traditions and customs are to be preserved and cultivated. From that day even the leader of the opposition came to my constituency, that is, Devendra Fadnavis came, Chandrasekhar Bawankule came. I had welcomed them with a shawl and sreefal. When I was in NCP, Uddhav Thackeray came to Guhagar, I also felicitated him by sending shawls and shrifal.

I have kept this a practice. What is the high tradition that all young people should know, I have imparted those sanskras on my children. MLA Jadhav said that I told Vikrant to honor Ajitdad. As per the custom, I have come to welcome Sharad Pawar, leaving my tour of Western Maharashtra halfway. He said that the name of Hindu Heart Emperor Balasaheb Thackeray is etched in my heart and the position of Pawar Saheb is unshakable. When asked whether he will attend today’s meeting, he refrained from commenting further saying that today’s meeting is for the Nationalist Congress Sharad Chandra Pawar party.
