Ratnagiri : The waiting fortnightly special train running between Nagpur Junction to Madgaon (Goa) has been extended till 29 December 24.
As there was no train to come directly from Vidarbha to Konkan railway line, there was a frequent demand for such a train from railway and passenger organizations. Accordingly, this bi-weekly train has been started. The deadline for the train was announced till September 29. But keeping in mind the busy season of Diwali and Christmas, this train was extended till December 29. As per the revised schedule, this train will leave Nagpur every Wednesday and Saturday at 3:06 PM and reach Madgaon on Thursday and Sunday. On the return journey, this train will leave Margaon every Thursday and Sunday at 7:10 PM and reach Pavnedaha Nagpur the next night. There will be 52 rounds on both sides of this special train.
Vaibhav Bahule, National General Secretary of National Railway Passenger Association of Shegaon, has appealed to more and more passengers to take advantage of this bi-weekly train.
