Mumbai : The Southwest Monsoon is on its return journey as winds from Rajasthan and Kutch region and reduced humidity provide a favorable environment for the return monsoon. It was officially announced by the Indian Meteorological Department on Monday (23rd). During this return journey, heavy rain is predicted in Central India and Central Maharashtra.
This year, according to the Meteorological Department, there was more than average rainfall in the country. The Meteorological Department had predicted that there would be about 106 percent rainfall. Accordingly, average rainfall was recorded in many parts of the country. Due to heavy rainfall in South India, flood situation was created. Some parts of the north received average rainfall, while parts of the northeast recorded less rainfall.
Every year, the journey of return rains starts on an average between 1st September. But for the last 5 years, this journey has been getting longer. Last year on September 25, monsoon retreated from Rajasthan. This year he has left for the return journey from September 23.

Monsoon is currently on its way back. He moved from Rajasthan. But, for the first few days, it is likely to linger on the spot. This process will result in heavy rains in Vidarbha during September 24 and then moderate rains in Marathwada. Yellow and orange alert in the state!
A yellow and orange alert has been issued in the state for the next five days. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder. After four days, the intensity of rain is likely to decrease.
