Pan masala and aromatic tobacco products were seized during a raid at a house in Moradpur Bhoiwadi in Chiplun taluk.

A house in Muradpur Bhoiwadi of Chiplun taluka was raided and pan masala and aromatic tobacco products were seized and a case has been registered against both of them. This is pan masala and aromatic tobacco products worth around 44 thousand rupees. According to the information received by the Food and Drug Administration officer Vijay Pacupate (41) at Chiplun police station, illegal substances were kept in the house of Prathamesh Ravindra Shedge (20, R.Muradpur Bhoiwadi) Information was received. Accordingly, Vijay Pacupate and his team raided the house on Thursday, September 19 around 7.30 pm. At that time, panmasala and aromatic tobacco products banned under the notification dated July 12, 2024 were found in the yard of Prathamesh Shedge’s house. The price of these dishes and pan masala has been increased to 43 thousand 560 rupees.
