Uran Day 21 (Vitthal Mamtabade): Like every year, this year also the social organization Vadan Ek Kalacha Raja has organized Sugar Chauthi Ganpati Worker Colony (Wadi) Uran City, Kamtha Road. Every year Ganeshotsav is celebrated here with great enthusiasm. This year too, a replica of Jejuri’s Khanderaya as a magnificent lamp was made at the workers’ colony Wadi Uran city by the organization Vadan Ek Kalacha Raja on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. This scene attracted the attention of the devotees.
Devoted devotees get the experience of actually seeing the Khanderaya of Jejuri after seeing the Ganesha idol here. Sculptor Sai Thakur has made a beautiful and attractive idol of Lord Ganesha and it is attracting the attention of devout devotees. Devotees have thronged in large numbers to see the replica of Jejuri. This year is the fourth year of celebrating Ganeshotsav. This year’s festival is from Saturday 21st September 2024 to 23rd September 2024.
In the meantime, various social, educational, cultural and religious programs have been organized on behalf of the organization and the founder Omkar Gharat, president Tejas Mhatre, vice president Mayur Kekatpure and Vadan Ek Kalacha Raja have appealed to the devotees to take advantage of it.
