The chairs in Chiplun Theater are finally repaired.

The city council has finally repaired the 8 broken chairs in the Indira Gandhi Cultural Center in Chiplun city. The deposit of the organizers of all the three events was forfeited for its expenses. Accordingly, the cost of the repair was spent. A few days ago, three programs were held in the theater on the same day, namely a community gathering, a song program of a social organization and a Jakha dance at night. After that, on the next day, 8 chairs in the theater were broken and unsanitary. Therefore, the city council decided to confiscate the deposit amount of Rs. 5 thousand each of the organizers of the three events instead of placing the responsibility on a single event. However, Rangkarmi and Natya Parishad submitted a statement to Principal Vishal Bhosle about this and expressed suspicion that this type of incident may have happened during Jakhadi dance and demanded to keep separate rules for Jakhadi and other programs from now on. www.konkantoday.com
