Chiplun: Director of Global Chiplun Tourism, Nature Conservator, Honorary Wildlife Warden (Forest Department) Nilesh Vilas Bapat sadly passed away on Saturday around 5.30 pm due to a massive heart attack. He was 46 years old at the time of his death. Sunday 15th September at 10 am. His body will be cremated. Such is the personality united with nature. Nilesh Bapat was known. They have a Ganpati factory in Chinchanaka area of the city. He was also famous in the city as a wholesaler of crackers. Taking note of the work of Nilesh Bapat, who loves nature and strives for nature conservation, the Forest Department has appointed him as an Honorary Wildlife Conservator.
