*Kankavali, D-12:-* Direction boards with QR codes have been installed by Public Works Department at many places. However, despite the fact that these boards have been placed in the wrong place, it seems that the department has no time to pay attention to replacing them. By installing the boards in such a wrong way, the money spent for it has also been wasted and instead of guiding the people in the right direction, it is seen that the public works account is misleading. Through the Sindhuratna Yojana, the Public Works Department has installed a large number of direction boards. It was pointed out that these boards were on wrong roads and pointing in the wrong direction. Some of the boards have been created incorrectly. Because on those direction boards, the village roads which are shown in the same direction, appear to be in the opposite direction. The Public Works Department is also fully aware of this. However, it appears that the department has not bothered to replace such boards. The public works department is headed by Ravindra Chavan, who is the guardian minister of the district. It is a picture that the residents of the district are being misled by their own department. It has been almost a month, but no action has been taken to replace this direction board. So it’s time for motorists to say ‘don’t show the way but change the sign’.
