A power pole fell on a running bike in Ratnagiri; Both seriously injured

Two people from Jaigad were seriously injured when an electric pole suddenly fell on a two-wheeler. This incident happened on Tuesday night around 8 o’clock. Two people injured in this incident are undergoing treatment at the District Government Hospital

Bhagyashree Prakash Pawari (18) and Ajay Santosh Shinde (29, both of Jaigad, Ratnagiri) are the names of the two people who were injured due to the fall of the electric pole. According to more information in this context, on Tuesday night, Ajay Shinde was going from Parachi Ali on a two-wheeler with Bhagyashree Pawari sitting behind him. Around that time, a rusty pole fell on his moving bike and the accident took place.

In this incident, both the seriously injured are undergoing treatment at the District Government Hospital. Due to the fall of this pole, power supply to some parts of the city was interrupted for some time. Mahavitaran employees removed the fallen pole and restored power after an hour.
