A nine-foot-long crocodile that entered a residential housing society in Mulund area was rescued on Sunday. The incident took place in a society near Nirmal Lifestyle in Mulund West this Sunday morning. The residents of this society saw that a large crocodile had entered the society. He informed about this to the forest department. The found crocodile has been caught by the forest department and the rescue team and has been shifted to a safe place. According to an official of the wildlife welfare group told PTI in this regard, the members of Rescink Association for Wildlife Welfare (ROW) in coordination with the forest department officials seized the crocodile from this society and shifted it to a safe place on Sunday morning.
