Fisheries Department’s patrol boat continues smoothly.

The government has given permission for fishing after August 15 and the patrol boat has been operational since August 22 with the permission of Fisheries Department. Patrol boats have been used to control illegal fishing. Official sources of Fisheries Department said that patrol boats in modern form are operating in Ratnagiri. The work has started from August 22. Patrolling is carried out as per favorable recommendation for going to sea. A patrol boat does not go to sea if there is an adverse recommendation.
