*Savantwadi, D-04:-* Sawantwadi Months ago, written and oral examinations were conducted for the recruitment of Police Patil vacancies in eight talukas of Sindhudurg eight districts. However, there was a delay in issuing appointment letters. The recruitment process was stopped due to the Lok Sabha Election Code of Conduct. Inspite of repeatedly drawing the attention of the administration, there was a delay in issuing appointment letters for the vacant posts of Police Patil. However, finally before the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, almost all the eligible candidates of Sawantwadi and Dodamarg talukas have been given appointment letters on Tuesday. So, finally, Ganapati Bappa has chosen the candidates for the post of Police Patil. In the district, appointment letters have been given to almost all eligible Police Patil candidates in two talukas namely Sawantwadi and Dodamarg. It is understood that the appointment letters will be issued to the candidates for the post of Police Patil in Vengurle taluka. More than hundred candidates from all three talukas were waiting for the Police Patil post candidate in Sawantwadi Assembly Constituency. 32 people have been given appointment letters in Dodamarg 18 Sawantwadi taluka. Candidates for the post of Police Patil were waiting for appointment in all eight talukas of the district. However, immediately after the transfer of Collector Kishore Tawde, the appointment letters were signed on Monday evening. After that, appointment letters were given on Tuesday afternoon. After eight months, almost 50 new Police Patils have been appointed in Sawantwadi and Dodamarg talukas. So satisfaction is being expressed.
‘Tarun Bharat Samvad’ had repeatedly alerted the administration about this, finally the appointments of the post of Police Patil have been given.
Provincial Officer Hemant Nikam has thanked 50 candidates for this.
