*Kankavali, D-03:-* Suspect Rabindra Namdev Raul (35), who has a case of molestation and extortion filed against her for extorting Rs. A team of police under the guidance of Sub-Inspector of Police Anil Hadal made the arrest from Diva in the early hours of Sunday morning. When he was produced in the court here on Monday, the court remanded him in police custody for three days.
This incident took place from 2022 to 27 August 2024. According to the complaint filed by the victim’s wife, suspect Ravindra secretly recorded the video while she was taking a bath in a tarpaulin bathroom near her house. After few days he showed that video to his wife. He threatened to make it viral and demanded money. Based on this threat, he extorted 2 lakh 70 thousand rupees from the married woman in the last two years. Meanwhile, on August 27, the suspect approached the married woman and demanded money. When she refused, the suspect had a lewd conversation with her and threatened to make the video viral again.

Rushed to Kankavali police station on August. When Police Sub-Inspector Hadal checked the ‘mobile location’, it was found that the suspect Ravindra was at Diva. Accordingly, the police team left for Divya on 31st August. Ravindra was arrested by the police on September 1 around 2.30 am.
