From tomorrow, the ST Employees Association has called an indefinite strike across the state.

There is a big news about the agitation of ST employees and from tomorrow (September 3) the ST employees’ organization has called an indefinite strike across the state. The ST employees’ organization has called an indefinite strike from tomorrow i.e. on September 3, warning that various demands such as financial matters, privatization should be accepted before the code of conduct of the assembly is enacted. Since Lalpari will have a break during Ganeshotsav period, it is predicted that common people will suffer. What are the important demands of these ST employees? On Monday, a statewide demonstration was held on 2nd September 2024 for urgent resolution of financial issues by ST employees’ unions. Demonstrations were held by the Action Committee at Mumbai Central. A door meeting was organized on this occasion. The last warning was given to the government from this meeting. As the government did not accede to the immediate demands, it announced a state-wide bandh from September 3.
