For the first time in the history of Shivaji High School as many as 5 students have been selected for school divisional wrestling competition.

Ratnagiri: A district level wrestling tournament was organized on behalf of District Sports Officer Office Ratnagiri. In this, the wrestlers of Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji High School Zhadgaon Ratnagiri managed by Shree Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Sanstha Kolhapur have achieved historic success in the wrestling competition held at the district level. The competition was concluded at Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium Ratnagiri with enthusiastic response. Among them Rudra Ajit Chavan – 33 kg weight category for girls under 14 years and Sairam Mahipati Jadhav 2nd position for under 14 years boys 35 kg weight group and Vedant Ramdas Khot 1st position for 41 kg weight group. .Harsh Ravi Bairagar – 1st place in 44 kg weight group, specially in 62 kg weight group Aryan Ramesh Chavan has won first place.Similarly Vikas Chandrakant Patil has got first place in 68 kg weight group. 5 athletes have been selected for the divisional competition. All the successful students were congratulated by the sports teacher Mr. M. who is a wrestler himself. D. Patil, Tanaji Gaikwad, Deepak Patil, Amol Mandle, Ashok Sutar, Teacher Swapnali Bhujbalrao, Saifuddin Pathan, Hostel Superintendent Gajanan Bagdi, Sagar Kadam got valuable guidance. Abhay Kumar Salunkhe, Executive President of the Institute, Mrs. Shubhangi Gawde, Secretary, Ajeev Sevak and Kolhapur Division Head Mr. Ram Salunkhe, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute Kaustubh Gawde, School Donor Sunil Bhongle, Social Worker and Donor Nitin Jadhav, Rotary Club Shalmali Ambukar, Principal Mr. A. D.
