SEOUL — The Saudi Ministry of Education delegation participated in the Global Innovation Summit for Education 2024 (GEIS) in South Korea. They engaged with specialized educational institutes, companies, and Korean educational broadcasting stations to learn about the latest advancements in technical systems and digital books.
The delegation met with officials from the Research Institute for Early Childhood Education Policy (KICCE) to explore cooperation in scientific research and development governance and engaged with leaders from the Korea Education Development Institute (KEDI) to understand the institute’s core areas of focus.
Discussions were also held with the Korean Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) on curricula and digital book licensing, and the delegation reviewed educational initiatives by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), identifying potential collaboration in international education.
The visits included interactions with I-Scream Media, a company specializing in innovative educational content and multimedia, and the Korean educational broadcasting station to gain insights into educational broadcasting systems. The delegation also explored opportunities for cooperation in education and scientific research with the Korean Education and Research Information Service (KERIS).
