Navi Sindhu Express will run from Bandra, Borivali on the Western Railway line to Madgaon

The Railway Board has given the green light to the new express train on the new route from Mumbai to Goa. New Sindhu Express will run from Bandra, Borivali on the Western Railway line to Madgaon. Sindhu Express will be shown green from Borivali railway station instead of Bandra on August 29, the Railway Board has informed. Bandra-Madgaon Sindhu Express will run two days a week. For some days, there was a movement regarding starting the express. Finally the train has been approved and it is starting from August 29. Passengers traveling in Konkan will benefit from the new train in the wake of Ganeshotsava. Meanwhile, information about the schedule, routes and stops of Sindhu Express has been given through a press release. Sindhu Express Time Table 1) Bandra Terminus – Madgaon (Wednesday and Friday) Train No. – 10115 will depart from Bandra Terminus at 6.60 am and reach Madgaon station at 10 pm 2) Madgaon – Bandra Terminus (Tuesday and Thursday) Train No. – 10116 will depart from Madgaon station at 7.40 am and reach Bandra Terminus at 11.40 pm Stops: Bandra, Borivali, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road, Panvel, Roha, Veer, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Sawantwadi, Thivi, Karamli and Madgaon coaches: The train will have a total of 20 LHB coaches. These coaches have been designed keeping in mind the safety and comfort of the passengers. The inaugural train will run from Borivali instead of Bandra. Booking for train number 09167 has started from noon (28 August). Passengers can book through IRCTC’s website. Passengers will have to pay 400 to 500 rupees for this journey.
