Hindu Janajagruti Samiti demands that immediate action should be taken as per the order of the High Court in the Sri Tuljabhavani temple embezzlement case

*Dharashiv, D-27:-* Criminal Investigation Department, District Police Chief Shri. Shankar Kengar’s report dated September 22, 2017 was submitted to the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court. Accordingly, the High Court has ordered criminal charges to be filed against the 16 accused on May 9, 2024 in connection with embezzlement of 8.5 crores in the temple; However, as this order has not yet been complied with, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has filed a contempt petition in the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court. Hon. The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, through a statement to Dharashiv Superintendent of Police Sanjay Jadhav, has demanded immediate registration of criminal cases as per the order of the court. At this time Shri of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Vinod Rasal, former president of Srituljabhavani Pujari Mandal Shri. Kishore Gangane, Advocate Shirish Kulkarni and Priest Shri Amit Kadam etc were present. Two separate inquiry reports were placed before the court in this embezzlement case. Among them, in the report submitted by Police Chief Lata Phad, all the accused were acquitted. This report has been rejected and according to the report submitted by Shankar Kengar Hon. The High Court ordered to register cases against all the 16 accused. 3 months have passed since this order and still no criminal cases have been registered against the concerned. Therefore, it was demanded that the order of the court should be followed without delay. At this time Superintendent Mr. Sanjay Jadhav said that Hon. The High Court has ordered the Collector to take action. Accordingly, immediate action will be taken after receiving the instructions from the Collector.
