So far 4300 trains have been booked for Konkan for Ganeshotsav which is considered as the biggest festival in Konkan. For the return journey, 138 trains have been kept from Sindhudurg section and 78 of them have been reserved, according to the information of Res. W. m. Sindhudurg Division Controller Abhijit Patil has given. A large number of people enter Konkan through railways, ST buses and private buses for Ganeshotsav.
