16 Palestinians martyred in Israeli shelling in Northern Gaza strip

The Israeli occupation army has bombed multiple areas throughout the northern Gaza Strip, which killed 16 Palestinians and injured many others.

Medical sources stated that 15 Palestinians were martyred, and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment on a residential structure sheltering displaced people in the Al Khazan neighborhood in Beit Lahia, affirming that medical and civil defense personnel were unable to reach the site, despite receiving stress calls from the displaced people due to the Israeli imposed restrictions.

Dozens of martyrs and injured are still under rubble in Beit Lahia because of the relentless Israeli air raids, detonation of booby-trapped robots, and firing from drones overnight until today without the existence of medical and civil defense personnel, the sources added.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian was martyred as a result of injuries he had incurred two days ago in an Israeli drone attack at the perimeter of Halima Al Sadia School in Jabalia Al Nazla while the Israeli occupation forces intensified the shelling of residential structures and blocks in Al Saftawi area, the Jabalia camp, as well as the town of Beit Lahia, where the sounds of huge explosions could be heard throughout the region.

In the morning hours, the Israeli occupations armored vehicle rammed into the Al Shaima area, west of Beit Lahia, and advanced toward Al Fakhoura school, west of Jabalia camp, under cover of extensive fire.

For the 32nd day, the occupation army keeps imposing a siege on the northern Gaza Strip amid a challenging humanitarian situation and attempts to displace the residents.
